All About Aguaje

Aguaje is a new superfruit coming out of brazil, that is being called the new superfood of South America. Acai berry is all the rage right now but alot of people have been asking us by email and comments - “What is the next acai berry?”. People have always believed that there are great secrets harbored by the Amazon rainforest that have yet to be discovered by humans and even more secrets that are harbored by the people in small villaiges scattered on the outskirts of the amazon rainforest deep in south america.

There is a buzz right now about a new acai like fruit coming out of Peru, yet another South American super fruit. This exotic fruit is said to have 3 times the vitamin A of carrots and have a similar taste to carrots as well. The fruit is called aguaje, and it is bright yellow with a scaly outer skin that’s maroon.

Many people in Peru situated near the Amazon river use this fruit as the core of their diet. Many
