Veev Acai Liquer

Veev Acai a new liqeur made from the Brazilian acai berry and it is called Veev. The makers of Veev acai berry booze say it is more healthy for the heart then red wine by 30 times.

Veev liqour is an interesting drink. It is clear like vodka and has a strong acai berry taste. Along with acai, the flavors of cherries and pear are also mixed in for a very tasty blend. The acai booze supposedly carries some of the nutritional values of the acai berry like omega acids and vitamins. The founders of Veev acai alcohol are Courtney and Carter Reum. They, like many North Americans who got in early on the acai rush, found out about the superberry on a surfing trip in 2003. They figured with all the benefits the acai berry had as well as the fact it has a great history in Brazil and being so secretive in the Amazon, it would really be popular in North America.

Veev donates back to the Amazon Rainforest that it is taking from. For each bottle sold by Veev, $1 is donated to the Rainforest Action Netowork and to the Sustainable Acai Project. This money and help goes towards families in the Amazon rainforest in Brazile who harvest acai berries for a living.
